For five days, Europe, Asia and the Americas united in New York City to share in the experience and wisdom of classical and contemporary dance. The Dance Prix de New York drew the foremost dancers, teachers, and company and school directors to explore and connect to the future of dance!

The Dance Prix de New York is a partnership between New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and Indianapolis City Ballet.

The Dance Prix de New York is a partnership between New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and Indianapolis City Ballet.
Dancers can choose to participate in a Classical Track (Ages 11 to 21) or a Contemporary Track (Ages 16 to 25). Partner schools and companies will adjudicate performance rounds, observe competitors in Master Classes and provide scholarships and/or contracts to competitors of interest and accomplishment.

Pre-professional dance students may participate in a Classical Track (Ages 11 to 21) and a Contemporary Track (Ages 16 to 25). Partner schools and companies will provide coaching and daily Master Classes as well as scholarships and contracts.
